We are a local Gold Coast business and offer a very transparent fee for financial advice service, based on your needs, not the amount of money you have to invest.
We also have our own Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) which allows us to provide independent advice, away from the influence of any superannuation funds, insurance companies or other investment organisations.
John Lomas – Senior Consultant
John came from an education background and was a Financial Planner since 1982 until 2021.
He was involved in the first private investment management service in Australia and has successfully managed and guided the affairs and investments of many hundreds of pre and post retirees.
John has assisted clients to visualise their future retirement years and develop financial plans so that retirement years are without financial stress and their bucket list goals become reality.
read moreJohn was a Fellow of the Self-Managed Superannuation Association and previously held the specialist Self-Managed Superannuation Specialist Advisor designation, the highest accreditation in the SMSF field. John has completed the advanced Diploma in SMSF Studies and has provided advanced strategic and investment advice for SMSF Trustees and worked with Accountants, Lawyers and SMSF Administrators to provide SMSF Advice. John has regularly lectured to Accountants and Lawyers in this field as part of their professional training.
John introduced one of the first SMSF Trustee Education courses and has lectured to SMSF trustees for 17 years on the Roles and Responsibilities of Trustees and their Strategic Opportunities. He has also developed a series of educational seminars that have been presented over the past 30 years covering Estate Planning and Investing for Financial Security.
He has been a regular presenter on Radio 4CRB’s Finance Forum talk back program.
During 2017 – 18, John worked with Griffith University to develop a philanthropy program and was responsible for the setting up of the $1 million Emily Reinhardt Piano Scholarship to assist economically disadvantaged students to study music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
John is married with three children and when he is not working, he enjoys adventure travel, has hiked and climbed in many of the major mountain ranges around the world and swims in senior ocean swimming events.
Josh Mashman – Financial Adviser - SMSF Specialist Adviser, BBus, Adv Dip FS (Financial Planning), C.dec
Josh provides financial planning advice across all areas including wealth creation, wealth preservation, pre and post retirement, superannuation (including a specialisation in SMSF), aged care and estate planning matters.
Josh has hosted a regular talkback program on community radio station 4CRB for many years and is a regular seminar presenter on a whole range of educational topics including SMSF, investment and estate planning.

With a passion for assisting clients in achieving their financial freedom by finding the best technical financial planning solutions for their needs, he continues to pursue additional study in all financial planning areas with special interest in investments analysis.
Adam has completed a Master of Financial Planning, Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Planning and Investment Analysis, and a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Share Trading and Investments.

After the decision to pivot industries and pursue a new path in his 30s, he returned to study and qualified as a financial adviser. Since then, he has combined his life experience, empathy, and analytical skills to guide individuals and families toward financial freedom.
